I’ve Been Where You Are
In Bryan’s own words
In 2003, my family’s home caught fire. I know the shock of standing outside watching it, the smell that stays in everything, and the questions nobody seems to answer. Then came the insurance claim. I was treated badly, and I never forgot how that felt.
That experience is the reason Select Restoration exists. Because I went through it myself, I can relate to every homeowner who calls us on the worst day of their life. I treat them the way I wish someone had treated my family.
From Roseville Schools to Select Restoration
I started my career in 1990, at 21, with Roseville Community Schools, and spent 16 years there. Working as a janitor taught me how to take care of buildings the right way: floors, finishes, and the details most people never see.
In 1993 I started a side business, Select Floor Services, licensed through the State of Michigan, stripping and waxing commercial floors. After my own fire, I put everything together: the building skills, the floor business, and every headache I went through with my claim. In 2005, Select Floor Services became Select Restoration.
On Scene With Local Fire Departments
Select Restoration is on the emergency board-up call lists for several local cities, so I’ve spent a lot of nights on scene alongside firefighters, securing homes and businesses right after the flames are out. That’s where families need help the most, and that’s where our job starts.
Family First
I’ve been married to my wife for 30 years. We raised our two children here; they went to local Catholic schools and on to Michigan State University. Select Restoration is a local, family-run business, and I put my name on every job.
